Touring * Beginner *

From U.S. 101 heading north in Santa Rosa, take the Steele Lane exit east, and turn right on Mendocino Avenue. The college campus is two blocks away at the intersection with Elliott Avenue.

Located just a short roll north of downtown Santa Rosa, skaters come to Santa Rosa Junior College on weekends to enjoy the plentiful pavement and wide open spaces this campus offers. Decorative pebbles embedded in the pavement may cause some wheel vibrations, especially at slower speeds. Stairs are few and far between, but there are many streets and parking lots, making this an ideal playground in a very skater-friendly town. Beginners will enjoy the flat terrain and lack of automobile traffic, and more advanced skaters can extend the in-lining fun by cruising south to Santa Rosa's vibrant downtown area.
