Notes
This trail is a short path that runs through the community of Chatsworth on the banks of Brown's Creek. It is located at the north end of Brown's Canyon Wash and connects the wash with a signed bike route heading east on Lassen Street. Skating north from Lassen, the block up to Devonshire Street is an unlovely concrete canyon path bordered by twin chain-link fences. Catty-corner across the Devonshire and Canoga Avenue intersection, the trail gains in beauty and character, however, and becomes a standard asphalt path on the banks of a natural creek bed. The trail sports a full-on bridle trail on one side, but how a horse can get any exercise on such a short route is anyone's guess. Across the creek a pleasant concrete path for humans passes through a backyard corridor and terminates abruptly just short of Interstate 118.
