Touring * Beginner *

Entering Sacramento from the west on Interstate (Business) 80, follow the Downtown Sacramento signs to exit at Highway 106, which doubles as 16th Street. Turn left when you reach 16th and proceed north nine blocks to O Street. Turn left again and look for curbside parking, or turn right at 15th Street to get to the parking lot at N Street across from the state capitol.

On Monday evenings during daylight saving time from spring to fall, you can participate in an organized tour of downtown Sacramento, including the state capitol area. Participants meet at 7:00 p.m. at the parking lot on 15th and N Streets. Beginners are welcome, and for the first hour, they receive free tips from a certified in-line skating instructor on in-line basics and slalom skating.
