From the Interstate (Business) 80 loop in downtown Sacramento, exit at N Street and jog one block north to reach the asymmetrical intersection of Alhambra Boulevard and Folsom Boulevard (which becomes Capital Avenue going west toward the state capitol). The tour leaves from the parking lot of Andiamo Restaurant at 3145 Folsom Boulevard near the corner of the intersection with Folsom.

Sacramento's Wednesday Night Skate is for experienced in-liners capable of skating 15 to 17 miles over a variety of terrain and pavements. The route varies from week to week, but always leaves promptly at 6:30 p.m. from the parking lot of Andiamo Restaurant. Plan on arriving 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. (If you're from out of town, it's a good idea to call ahead and confirm the meeting time.) Wednesday night in-liners need to be able to skate safely at a fast pace while dealing with cars, pedestrians, and other skaters. The size of the group at the beginning of the 1995 season (and this was a wet spring) was up to 36--a number that's sure to grow as word continues to spread among enthusiastic skaters about the tours.
