We only skated the northern end of the trail so use these directions with an open mind.

From Hwy 101 South. Take the Main St exit to Ventura - go 0.4 mi. Turn right at W Main St - go 0.7 mi. Turn left at N Olive St - go 0.1 mi. Turn left at Rex St. Park near the corner of Dubbers St.

From Hwy 101 South. Take the California St exit. Turn right at S California St - go 0.2 mi. Turn left at E Main St - go 0.6 mi. Turn right at N Olive St - go 0.1 m. Turn left at Rex St. Park near the corner of Dubbers St.

We discovered this trail while revisiting the Ojai Valley Trail. While it has a separate name, it is in reality a continuation of the Ojai Valley Trail between Ventura and Foster Park. You can now skate continuously from Ventura to Ojai - almost 17 miles! We only had time to skate the northern third of the trail which is mostly flat and smooth - a great place to stretch out. The scenery varies from rural to semi-industrial with views of the mountains on either side of the valley. One of the great features is the art emplacements all along the trail.
