Touring * Beginner *

From U.S. 101 heading north from the south bay, exit at Sierra Point Parkway. Turn right onto the parkway and take the first left on Marina Boulevard. From U.S. 101 heading south from downtown San Francisco, exit at Sierra Point Parkway (south of Candlestick Park). Turn left onto the parkway and follow it south for about a mile. Pass back under the freeway and take the first left, Marina Boulevard. Park in the Good Guys parking lot.

While not a major destination for skating in the Bay Area, the Sierra Point Public Trail is worth checking out if you happen to be nearby with your skates handy. This short paved trail on the north and east shore of Sierra Point passes by the Brisbane Marina. Although the trail is rough in spots, there are good views of Candlestick Point, Hunters Point (the big structure is a dry dock), and the East Bay hills. You'll also find several office parking lots to play in nearby, plus rest rooms and water at the marina.
